Nonhyeonpodae Neighborhood Park

Nonhyeonpodae (論峴砲臺) is a battery built in 1879 (the 16th year of King Gojong's reign) as a military defense facility for the Incheon and Bupyeong coasts. It is registered as Incheon Metropolitan City Tangible Cultural Property No. 6. Nonhyeonpodae Neighborhood Park is a park created on the military site where this battery was located. It features a children's playground and walking trails, and sports facilities include a basketball court, tennis court, badminton court, and X-GAME area, as well as an outdoor performance stage as a cultural facility. In winter, a temporary free outdoor ice sledding rink is operated. It can be easily accessed via Exit 2 of Hogupo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line.
