Incheon Tongilgwan (Incheon Unification Hall)

Located in Subong Park, Incheon Tongilgwan (Incheon Unification Hall) opened in December 1994 as the only empirical unification education center in the Incheon area. It is a cultural, experiential, and exhibition space that helps visitors correctly understand the reality of division and imagine a unified future. The story composition of the Unification Hall consists of the pain of division and the desire for unification, the path to peace, efforts toward unification (history, politics, culture), the gateway to unification 2030 future connection, nostalgia for unification, a unified Korea, spring days in the hometown, and waiting for unification.

It introduces the reality of North Korea to citizens as it is, while also serving as the only empirical unification education center in the Incheon area, providing exhibition materials related to unification that meet expectations for unification and the era of inter-Korean reconciliation and cooperation, displaying daily necessities of North Korean residents, allowing reading of North Korean newspapers and books, and screening North Korean films (feature films, animated films) to help visitors correctly understand North Korea's politics, economy, society, and culture.
