Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education Buk-gu Library opened in 1991 and strives to realize an Incheon education united by books, working with the village education community on reading culture promotion projects such as 'Reading City, Making Incheon'. Through specialized projects supporting school libraries, it supports various activities that help students stay close to books and benefit their learning and culture. Buk-gu Library strengthens knowledge information services and communicates with local residents so that the library can be reborn as a pleasant and comfortable city living room for all residents, beyond just a place for reading. The new building and main building are equipped with facilities such as a general materials room, digital materials room, children's materials room, lecture rooms, reading rooms, and a lounge. It operates village lifelong education, early childhood and children's programs, youth programs, and school-targeted programs.
