Gilsang Public Market (4th, 9th)

Gilsang Public Market is located in Gilsang-myeon, Ganghwa-gun, Incheon. In 1914, Jeongdu-dong and Jeongha-dong (now Dojang-ri and Giljeong-ri of Yangdo-myeon) were incorporated into Yangdo-myeon, and Donggeom-do of Bucheon-gun, Gyeonggi-do was merged to form Gilsang-myeon. On the 4th and 9th of each month when the market is held, street vendors begin to set up in the Ganghwa Nambu Agricultural Cooperative area from early morning. The market is filled with directly farmed and harvested agricultural products and a variety of foods. It is a market with a warm atmosphere and the generous spirit of the countryside.
