Why travelers stop here
Yongma Waterfall Park is a resting place for citizens located on the slopes of Yongmasan Mountain. Using the rocky cliffs of Yongmasan Mountain, which were previously used as an aggregate quarry, it created the largest artificial waterfall in Asia at the time along with a park. It consists of three artificial waterfalls: the central Yongma Waterfall, the left Cheongnyong Waterfall, and the right Baengma Waterfall. Yongma Waterfall boasts a width of 3–10m and a height of 51.4m in two tiers, while Cheongnyong Waterfall is 21m tall and Baengma Waterfall is 21.4m tall. In addition to the waterfalls, the park features various facilities such as a soccer field, climbing gym, basketball court, foot volleyball court, and children's playground, making it ideal for those who enjoy outdoor activities.
