Seosan Gaetmaeul

Seosan Gaetmaeul is a long-established seafood restaurant. Crossing Chojidaegyo Bridge and heading toward Hupo Port, you will find a cluster of restaurants specializing in bandaeji hoe (vinegared raw herring) near Hupo Ferry Terminal, known as Bandaeji Hoe Village. The most popular menu item at Seosan Gaetmaeul is the spring specialty bandaeji course, consisting of hoe (raw fish), muchim (seasoned dish), gui (grilled fish), twigim (fried fish), and bandaeji wanja tang (herring ball soup). The bandaeji hoe, deboned and prepared into two pieces per fish, is eaten dipped in cho-gochujang (vinegar and red chili paste).
