Myeongdal-ri is the name of a remote mountain village located in Seojong-myeon, Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do. This village is considered a remote area of Gyeonggi-do, untouched by development. Even now, only a handful of people remain here. This is why the Myeongdal-ri Valley at the foot of Samtaebong Mountain preserves pristine, ancient natural ecology. Due to the lack of human foot traffic, the valley still boasts an abundance of various wildflowers.
