Tapdong Amusement Park

The valley that flows for 6km between Wangbangsan Mountain and Guksabong Peak (754m) to its north is Tapdong Valley. The name Tapdong comes from the fact that there was a three-story stone pagoda and a stone Buddha, believed to have been built in the late Goryeo Dynasty, in the vicinity. The three-story stone pagoda was lost during the Japanese colonial period, and only the stone Buddha remains today. Tapdong Valley is so beautiful that it has earned the nickname 'Dongducheon's Muju Gucheondong'. Along the valley, various rock formations such as Nangbawi, Adeulbawi, Cheungdaebawi, Julbawi, and Sohacheon, along with stone walls and oddly shaped rocks, continue in Tapdong Amusement Park.
