Bam-il Village Food Culture Street

Bam-il Village is located in Ha-an-dong, Gwangmyeong-si. It has been called Bam-il since ancient times due to the abundance of chestnut trees. The food culture street of Bam-il Village was designated as Gyeonggi-do's first specialized street for food culture improvement on March 26, 2013. This area promotes the establishment of voluntary practices for improving food culture, such as not reusing leftover food, and encourages proper dietary habits. It fosters a friendly and hygienic atmosphere and creates an eco-friendly food culture to prevent food resource waste. Adjacent to urban centers such as Bucheon, Anyang, and Siheung, and with convenient transportation, it attracts many visitors.
