Anteo Ecological Park

경기도 광명시 안재로1번길 27 (하안동)

Destination briefing

Why travelers stop here

Anteo Ecological Park is an inland wetland in the city restored to protect the habitat of the gold-spotted pond frog through the Ministry of Environment's ecosystem conservation cooperation fund project. It improves water quality and leads to a healthy ecosystem by treating point and non-point pollution sources through an ecological water purification system. To facilitate water circulation, a small stream has been created to protect various species, and a native flower garden has also been established nearby. Anteo Ecological Park is home to 7 species of amphibians and reptiles, including the gold-spotted pond frog, a Class 2 endangered wildlife species, as well as 66 species of plants such as cattail, 6 species of fish including the Chinese perch, and 27 species of birds including the common moorhen, along with a rich variety of other animals and plants. In addition, various ecological education programs are operated to allow visitors to directly experience and appreciate the importance of diverse organisms living around us.
