This is a downtown park that embraces Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and has been displaying its noble appearance for a long time. It was created in 1978 and stretches along the fortress wall from Janganmun Gate to Hwaseomun Gate. The landscaping is well-maintained, allowing visitors to enjoy various flowers along with old trees. There is a path for 'Eocha', the Suwon Hwaseong Fortress tourist train, and a walking trail along the fortress wall. Visitors can also see the Treasure Northwest Gongsimdon, Treasure Hwaseomun Gate, Hwaseong Eocha, metal sotdae (bird pole) artworks, walking trails, the Hwaseong Restoration Monument, Hwaseong Monument, Gyeonggi Province Tourist Information Center, and a public restroom that won a special award at the 1999 Provincial Beautiful Restroom Contest.
