Ilsan Children's Astronomical Observatory

The Children's Astronomical Observatory was established to inspire children's interest and curiosity in space science and to help them have dreams and hopes about stars and space, focusing on professional astronomical observation facilities and equipment, and astronomical research activities. To this end, the Children's Astronomical Observatory operates various educational programs, including regular programs consisting of theory, crafts, and astronomical observation with different themes each month, as well as one-day experiences and family programs. It aims to provide children with more diverse and in-depth astronomical and natural science education services by developing experiential and comprehensive educational programs. Starting with Ilsan Children's Astronomical Observatory in 2003, there are 19 branches in Gyeonggi/Incheon, 3 branches in Chungcheong, 2 branches in Gyeongsang, and 1 branch each in Jeolla and Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, so you can find a Children's Astronomical Observatory anywhere.
