Myeongseongsan Silver Grass Field

Pocheon Myeongseongsan, which has a place famous for silver grass, is a mountain with an altitude of 923m where Gungye fled while being chased by Wang Geon. Myeongseongsan Eoksae Field is famous as one of Korea's five major silver grass colonies along with Ulsan Sinbulsan, Jeongseon Mindungsan, Boryeong Oseosan, and Jangheung Cheongwansan. To see the Myeongseongsan Eoksae Field, you must use the Sanjeong Lake parking lot and then climb the mountain along the Myeongseongsan hiking trail. Along the trail, which is not easy to climb, you can hear the cool sound of Biseon Falls and Deungnyong Falls, and in autumn, many hikers visit to see the silver grass colony and the autumn leaves of Myeongseongsan. It is a place where you can enjoy a walk around Sanjeong Lake surrounded by strange rocks and the spectacular view of the dazzling silver grass field.
