Yeokjeon Neighborhood Park is an urban neighborhood park located near exits 4 and 5 on the east side of Uijeongbu Station on Seoul Subway Line 1. The park features pavilions, lawns, and trees, along with a preserved section of the former U.S. military base fence to commemorate the site's history, a Korea-U.S. Friendship Monument praying for bilateral friendship and peaceful unification of the Korean Peninsula, a piece of the former Berlin Wall donated from Berlin, Germany, a statue of Ahn Jung-geun, and a memorial for the Uijeongbu March 1st Movement. It is a good place to take a short rest while passing by or near Uijeongbu Station. Nearby attractions include Uijeongbu Jeil Market and Uijeongbu Station Haengbok-ro, which can be explored together.
