Uijeongbu Station East Plaza

Uijeongbu Station East Plaza is a civic square created on the site of the former U.S. military base, Camp Hollingsworth, and is a representative open space in Uijeongbu where various cultural events and festivals are held. It offers different seasonal landscapes, allowing visitors to enjoy a garden full of tulips in spring and a night view combining Christmas trees and a garden of lights in winter, making it a beloved resting place for citizens. The plaza features unique milk carton-shaped restrooms and an actual piece of the Berlin Wall donated from Germany, providing distinctive sights. Additionally, the adjacent Infinite Imagination Citizen Garden and Station Front Neighborhood Park, created on the former U.S. military base site, offer gardens, vegetable patches, walking paths, and rest areas for a leisurely time.
