Dooly Square

Dooly Square is a small square located at the entrance of Songnae Rodeo Street in front of Songnae Station Exit 2 in Bucheon-si. It serves as a regional transportation hub where various bus routes connect for transfers. The area around the square is pedestrian-friendly and used as a daily resting space for citizens. In line with Bucheon-si's eco-friendly bicycle city policy, a bicycle air pump is installed. Inside the square, small sales facilities operate seasonally, selling flowers and snacks. Previously, there was a Dooly statue popular among children, but it was removed due to road expansion construction. After the expansion, the space became wider, improving pedestrian flow and transfer convenience. The square is linked to Songnae Rodeo Street, resulting in high foot traffic and commercial vitality. Local events and campaigns are occasionally held here, functioning as a community communication space. Overall, it is a small complex space combining living infrastructure and public transportation.
