Dangsu Sports Park

Dangsu Sports Park in Suwon was opened to alleviate the local residents' need for park and green spaces, promote community harmony, and enhance healthy leisure activities and sports participation. Major facilities include a circular plaza that can be used for various community events such as local festivals, a calorie track for jogging in nature, and a gateball court for seniors. In particular, the futsal field at Dangsu Sports Park is equipped with lighting for night games, making it a popular facility among soccer enthusiasts in Suwon. It can be used by prior reservation and lottery through the Suwon Sports Council. Suwon City has announced and is promoting a plan to expand the size of Dangsu Sports Park to reflect the opinions of local residents and establish it as a generation-tailored leisure and rest space for balanced development of the Dangsu-dong area. This expansion is currently underway.
