Daewon Park

Daewon Park, located in the Jungwon-gu, Sangdaewon, Hadaewon, and Jung-dong areas of Seongnam-si, was completed in 2002 with the aim of contributing to the health, relaxation, and emotional well-being of Seongnam citizens. It features a total of 10,176㎡ of walking trails and large green spaces. The park includes a multi-purpose sports field, a wildflower garden, a pine forest, a children's playground, a badminton court, and other sports facilities. In July 2007, a play fountain with 77 underwater lights was installed, allowing visitors to enjoy a spectacle of light and water. Additionally, a 400m-long barefoot yellow soil path has been opened. This path was created by laying 20cm of yellow soil under the shade of the tree-lined existing walking trails. Convenience facilities such as a foot washing station and shoe storage have also been installed.
