Cheonggye Farm

Located near Baekam Sundae Street, Cheonggye Ranch is a hands-on dairy farm where visitors can experience dairy farming. Established in 1985, Cheonggye Ranch opened the Milk School Experience Farm in 2009 and was selected as the first Edu-Farm (educational farm) in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province in 2012. On a spacious and pleasant ranch of about 150,000 pyeong, visitors can interact directly with dairy cows and enjoy a fulfilling dairy experience lasting from 1 hour 30 minutes to 4 hours. The ranch features experience facilities such as the Milk School (education center), outdoor experience area, dairy cow ranch, Korean beef cattle ranch, animal farm, and pony riding, and the ranch is maintained cleanly. There are two types of experience programs: Course A and Course B. Course A is a program that takes about 4 hours to 4 hours 30 minutes and includes making ice cream, riding a tractor wagon, milking a mother cow, feeding milk to calves, feeding Korean beef cattle, and other interactive experiences, as well as an animal farm with rabbits, ponies, sheep, and goats. Course B is a 1 hour 30 minute program that includes the same experiences as Course A except for milking the mother cow and the animal farm. Ice cream can be tasted immediately after making it, and the ranch raises both dairy cows and Korean beef cattle, allowing visitors to interact with both types of cows. Reservations are required, and experience reservations are accepted online or by phone. All visitors entering at the time of reservation must pay the experience fee, and visitors without a confirmed reservation cannot enter. Additionally, due to the program schedule, if you arrive late, it may be difficult to participate in the experiences that have already started, so you must adhere to the experience time. In particular, Cheonggye Ranch operates individual experience programs only on weekends, and reservations are only possible on dates marked as 'individual experience available' on the website reservation page, so please refer to this when making a reservation. It takes about 16 minutes by car from Yangji IC. Nearby attractions include Everland, Korean Folk Village, UNESCO World Heritage sites Hwaseong Fortress and Yungneung and Geolleung, Giheung Lake Park, Deokpyeong Dinosaur Arboretum, Byeolbit Garden Space, and Hantaek Botanical Garden.
