This is a food village located in Haengju-naeoe-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si. The nearby Han River flows with beautiful scenery, allowing visitors to enjoy various foods while overlooking the Han River alongside Haengjusanseong Fortress. In the 1970s, the main menu items here were primarily grilled eel and spicy stew, but now dozens of restaurants offer a variety of dishes. In particular, the grilled eel here is very famous not only in Goyang-si but nationwide, with charcoal-grilled eel known for being a clean product raised locally. On weekends, many tourists who have toured Haengjusanseong Fortress frequently use this food village near Haengjusanseong. Additionally, affordable and generous janchi-guksu (banquet noodles) are very famous, forming a noodle village. Besides these, you can enjoy local dishes such as pajeon (green onion pancake), dotorimuk (acorn jelly), grilled eel, and spicy stew.
