Jeonghyesa Temple

Jeonghyesa Temple, a branch of Songgwangsa Temple, the main temple of the 21st diocese under the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, operates an introductory class for those new to Buddhism, where they can learn basic doctrines, Buddhist temple culture, and Buddhist etiquette, in line with its role as an urban missionary temple. While Buddhist temples are often associated with deep mountains, this is a place where one can learn Buddhism in an easily accessible urban setting, listen to monks' Dharma talks, and engage in religious activities such as prayer, chanting, and meditation. It also separately operates a scripture class and a meditation class for those seeking deeper teachings.
