Ssakssuri Sotttukkeong Kimchi Samgyeopsal

Ssakssuri Sotttukkeong Kimchi Samgyeopsal is a popular samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) restaurant near Baekseok Station in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do. The restaurant is on the first floor, but you can also use outdoor seating like a terrace by opening all the folding doors. It became even more famous after being featured on the TV program 'Delicious Guys' samgyeopsal episode. When you order meat, a well-maintained, shiny pot lid (sotttukkeong) is placed on the table, along with seasoned scallions, pickles, garlic, chili peppers, and wrap vegetables. Steamed egg and soybean paste stew are served as basic side dishes. You grill the meat on the pot lid and also grill kimchi and bean sprouts around the lid; the kimchi and bean sprouts are refillable. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. It is also a treat to stir-fry rice at the end.
