Why travelers stop here
It is called Yeoncheon Lohas Park Ecological Wetland, but it is also known as Okgye Village Wetland Park. When using various portal maps, it is easier to search for Yeoncheon Lohas Park. From 2008 to 2009, the terraced rice paddies were preserved and transformed into an ecological wetland. In the ecological wetland, wildflowers and aquatic plants and animals coexist. There are many frogs and snakes appear, so you must walk along the designated paths, and as it is a wetland, there are quite a few insects. In summer, you can enjoy the cool groves, and in autumn, you can climb the observatory to view the scenery of Lohas Park. Nearby, there is a hanok cafe, and the Yeoncheon Miracle Town accommodation is also close.
