Sonn-gol Catholic Holy Site

This is a place where believers who hid from persecution formed a Catholic village, and members of the Paris Foreign Missions Society learned the Korean language and customs. It commemorates Saint Dori Henrico and Saint Ometre Pietro, who were martyred during the Byeongin Persecution. In the basement of the cathedral completed in 2016, there is a Martyrs' Room housing the remains of four saints and the unknown martyrs of Sonn-gol. Stamp boxes are installed at five sites: Euni Holy Site, Golbaemashil Holy Site, Sonn-gol Holy Site, and Mirinae Holy Site. After completing the course, you can receive a completion stamp and a small souvenir at the Yongin Central Market Travel Stay.
