Why travelers stop here
A nature-friendly ecological plaza located at Sejong-ro, where Cheonggyecheon Stream begins in Jung-gu, Seoul. It offers a variety of attractions and is easily accessible, making it a popular tourist destination for both citizens and foreign visitors. The plaza features a candle fountain with three-color lighting, a two-tier waterfall dropping 4 meters, and 'Palseokdam' made of eight stones collected from across the country placed on both sides of the waterfall. At night, the lights and water create a fantastic scene, attracting many visitors even after dark. A miniature model of the entire Cheonggyecheon Stream at a 1/100 scale is also provided as a highlight, and various citizen cultural events and festivals are held here throughout the year.
