Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park

The Greenway, created using farm roads along the embankments of Botongcheon Stream and Janghyeoncheon Stream flowing through Siheung-si, is a bicycle path that retains a pastoral landscape. It is an eco-friendly space where visitors can experience nature and sights such as Mulwangho Lake, the Lotus Theme Park, Gwangokji, and the Gaetgol Ecological Park along the course, and is used by many people including local residents and cycling clubs. As its name suggests, the Siheung Greenway is an eco-friendly green path that traverses Siheung's ecological and environmental attractions. You can feel the atmosphere of Gyeonggi-do's only inner bay tidal flat and old salt pans, and if you ride through the Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park, designated as a national marine wetland protected area, the Lotus Theme Park created with a lotus colony in Gwangokji, the largest in the metropolitan area, and Mulwangho Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Siheung-si, you can go a bit further from Siheung Gaetgol Ecological Park to Wolgot Port, Okgu Park, and even Oido. The Siheung Greenway, where cherry blossoms bloom in spring, lotuses in summer, and cosmos in autumn, offering beautiful scenery, is a charming path that allows you to naturally feel the changes of the four seasons.
