Food Culture Special Street (Kkal Kkal Street)

This is a food street formed near Guro Digital Complex Station on Subway Line 2. It is densely packed with excellent restaurants in Guro-gu that are leading the improvement of wasteful food culture with clean and simple table settings.

The name Kkal Kkal Street is said to have been given because restaurants serve food neatly (kkalkkeum) and customers eat without leaving leftovers (kkalkkeum). Among the restaurants here, those certified by the district office as Kkal Kkal affiliated stores, which provide food that customers can trust and eat safely, offer a 2% discount (point accumulation) on the meal price to customers who finish their meals neatly. Additionally, efforts are being made to improve food culture by allowing customers to pack leftover food in containers.
