Why travelers stop here
Located at the foot of Suraksan Mountain, this is a private property of about 3,000 pyeong that serves as both a fishing spot and a water play area. It consists of an indoor fishing house for bad weather or winter visitors, an outdoor fishing area (Sonmat Fishing Spot), and an outdoor swimming pool for water play. The outdoor fishing area operates a fishing experience zone for beginners, students, and children, and fishing rods can be rented for free. Visitors who come to fish can use the facility upon paying the fishing fee; even just casting the rod provides a satisfying catch, making the fee worthwhile. The swimming pool is free of charge, but visitors must order food to use it, and they can enjoy water play while eating ordered food at the flat benches and table seats set up right in front of the pool. The water depth ranges from 1.5m to 2.5m, so it is safe for children to wear life jackets while playing in the water, and tube rentals are also available. This place offers the dual pleasure of enjoying both water play and fishing at once, making it a great spot to visit with children.
