Hansaengyeon Life Science Museum

Hansaengyeon Life Science Museum is Korea's first life science museum, opened in April 2006 to expand the base of scientific culture and specialize in life sciences. It is a place where visitors can engage in experience-based learning about life sciences. Since its opening, it has presented various experimental exhibitions, experiences, educational programs, and events to the public, aiming to become a life science museum in the heart of the city and, on a larger scale, in the world. The museum aims to promote a correct understanding of the human body, animals, plants, insects, and microorganisms, as well as to scientifically explore genes and life phenomena using advanced experimental equipment. The museum possesses and develops a wealth of content to ensure it is not just a museum for viewing with the eyes but one where experience-centered observation can take place. Additionally, through continuous data collection and research—the museum's core function—it strives to provide more popular and professional scientific exhibitions while serving as a space for lifelong learning.
