Why travelers stop here
Bok Dubu Jip is a traditional tofu dish specialty restaurant where you can enjoy various dishes made with tofu. It is a popular restaurant that attracts repeat customers. They make tofu by hand-grinding and pressing 100% Paju Jangdan beans, using deep-sea water from Goseong on the east coast as brine. The cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste) is also made using traditional methods, covered with a blanket and fermented with rice straw. The kongbiji (soybean pulp) is finely ground to maximize the savory flavor of Jangdan beans, then boiled like a soup to produce a savory taste similar to milk. The freshwater crab and tofu hot pot, made by boiling freshwater crabs, freshwater shrimp, handmade tofu, and homemade broth together, offers a light and refreshing taste that clears the palate.
