Mokgam-dong Seorak Chueotang Hwadeok Grilled Fish (Mulwang Main Branch) is a chueotang (loach soup) specialty restaurant that opened in 1996. It started as the first chueotang restaurant near the old Mokgam IC and has become a representative restaurant in the Anyang and Gwangmyeong areas. Currently, it operates its main branch at Siheung Mulwang Reservoir. The chueotang uses beef bone broth simmered for 96 hours, resulting in a deep and clean flavor. The rice is made from carefully selected seasonal varieties, and only tender and fresh ingredients are used for the dried radish greens. Fish is air-freighted at least three times a week to maintain freshness. The hwadeok (wood-fired oven) cooks at a high temperature of 500 degrees immediately upon order, and all side dishes are made fresh in-house daily. This restaurant has been consistently loved for over 30 years for its unchanging taste and dedication.
