Barun Heukyeomso

Barun Heukyeomso is a black goat specialty restaurant in Bongdam, Hwaseong. It offers all dishes made with black goat, including hot pot, boiled pork slices, seasoned salad, and soup. The black goats used as ingredients are pasture-raised in the highlands of Gokseong, Gangjin, Jirisan, and Wolchulsan in South Jeolla Province. The red pepper powder is grown in Chungju, North Chungcheong Province, and the sesame oil and perilla oil are directly pressed at a mill. This is a restaurant that puts care into its ingredients and cooking. In addition to food, it also sells directly pressed black goat extract. Free samples of black goat extract are given to customers visiting the restaurant. It is popular for its clean taste that even first-time black goat eaters can enjoy without aversion.
