Why travelers stop here
Located on the first floor of Hyundai I'Park Tower in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Pony Jeong Hall opened in 2008 as part of a memorial project, serving as both a space to commemorate the deceased and a multi-cultural complex. Pony Jeong Hall is designed to be versatile, accommodating classical music concerts and exhibition spaces. Centered around a stage measuring 10 meters wide and 5 meters deep, it is equipped with state-of-the-art sound, video, and lighting facilities, enabling live recording and filming of performances. A reverberation variable device with adjustable curtains is installed on one wall to control reverberation time according to the genre of performance. Notably, unlike conventional performance halls with closed designs, Pony Jeong Hall features large sliding doors, creating an open space through an innovative spatial design. Normally, the sliding doors are left open, allowing the space to be used as an exhibition area or lounge; when hosting concerts, the doors can be closed to easily transform the space into a performance hall isolated from the outside. Additionally, multi-vision screens and sound systems installed outside the hall allow audiences to enjoy live performances from outside the hall as well.
