Sikol Restaurant

Sikol Restaurant is a Korean home-style restaurant located on the way to Sanjeong Lake in Sinbuk-myeon, Pocheon-si. Its main menu items include braised hairtail, cabbage soup, cheonggukjang, doenjang jjigae, and dongtae jjigae, making it a great choice for breakfast or lunch. The restaurant opens at 5 AM, so it is a popular spot for travelers heading to Pocheon, Gapyeong, or Gangwon-do for breakfast, or for golfers visiting nearby golf courses. Even without a formal set meal name, ordering jjigae or cabbage soup comes with 7 to 8 side dishes, which are healthy and seasonal. The rice served with the jjigae is sticky and chewy, with firm grains. Additional rice and side dishes are available. The restaurant is spacious and has a large parking lot for convenience. After a meal, visitors can stop by Sanjeong Lake or take a walk along the lakeside trail.
