Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Since its opening in 2009, CJ Azit Gwangheungchang has supported various creators and provided many stages, including Hongdae Live Club Day and Tune-Up Stage planned performances. It features a music performance hall, a recording studio (Tune-Up Studio), and an artist lounge, allowing musicians to create high-quality music content and audiences to freely enjoy new performances. The performance hall is designed as a black box with a standing capacity of 250 seats, and the stage and seating can be freely installed in the empty space, enabling not only music performances but also diverse productions and collaborations with other genres. Tune-Up Studio is a space with one of the highest ceilings in Korea, allowing for deep resonant sound recording. The artist lounge on the second floor of the building is a space that musicians using the performance hall and studio can utilize for various interviews, meetings, and community gatherings.
