Ondal Haemul Guk

Ondal Haemul Guk is a cod soup restaurant near Pyeongtaek's Godeok New Town. The interior features many round tables and an open kitchen. The menu offers a single clear cod soup, with the fish meat already deboned for easy eating. Side dishes include cubed radish kimchi, cucumber salad, and garlic pickles, which can be refilled at the self-service bar. The earthenware pot is filled with boneless cod, plump oysters, fish roe, and bean sprouts. It is topped with plenty of chopped cheongyang chili peppers and seasoned with salted shrimp paste. After the meal, a 10-minute drive away, Godeok Waterfront Park is a good place for a walk.
