Why travelers stop here
A large-scale galbi (rib) restaurant located on Jangdari-ro, Paldal-gu, Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do. Gabojeong, meaning 'beautiful and big house,' opened in 1992. The building exterior consists of large structures facing each other, divided into Hall 1, Hall 2, and Hall 3. Inside, traditional Korean furniture, patterns, and ceramics create a serene atmosphere. It was featured on the live broadcast 'Today's Evening' episode 1,759 (April 12, 2022) for its grilled ribs. High-quality Korean beef is cut into convenient pieces, marinated in a mixture of salt, pear, garlic, and other seasonings, then grilled over charcoal, offering a light and chewy flavor. Side dishes such as seasoned cabbage, steamed skate, and steamed sweet pumpkin are clean and neat.
