Cheonggye Nurungji Baeksuk

Located in Hakui-dong, Uiwang-si, Gyeonggi-do, 'Cheonggye Nurungji Baeksuk' is a specialty restaurant for nurungji baeksuk (scorched rice chicken soup) where you can taste the handcrafted flavors of 30 years of tradition. It also offers native chicken baeksuk, acorn jelly, mung bean seafood bindaetteok, and buckwheat naengmyeon. The side dishes such as dongchimi, gat kimchi, and radish kimchi are popular. The baeksuk, true to its nature as a nourishing dish, is prepared by boiling and simmering over 10 medicinal ingredients including sanghwang mushroom, polygonum multiflorum, gastrodia elata, and lotus seeds. Porridge is served in a separate bowl for easy eating. With a spacious indoor area, bright interior, and complete parking facilities, it is also a good place for gatherings.
