Why travelers stop here
A specialty sundae-guk (blood sausage soup) restaurant located in Daesin-myeon, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. Although its address is in Yeoju, it lies between Yeoju and Yangpyeong, so many people search for it as a Yangpyeong restaurant. Its exterior, reminiscent of a countryside house or a drama set, is charming. The menu is simple. Sundae-guk and gopchang-jeongol (beef tripe hot pot) are the signature dishes. Ssanggogaejip uses broth that the grandmother boils for three days in a traditional cauldron. As it is simmered for three days, the broth has a milky white color. The taste is rich, savory, and deep. The gopchang-jeongol has a clean broth flavor. The peppers, green onions, potatoes, and chives are all freshly picked from the field. Surrounding Ssanggogaejip are wide rice paddies and fields. It is nice to take a walk around the area after eating. Nearby, there is the Palm Forest Arboretum and the Yangpyeong Arboretum. The Ipo-bo Auto Camping Site is also 8.2 km away.
