Bahariya

Bahariya is a large dessert cafe located at 43 Jeombong-gil (Jeombong-dong), Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. It is a place visited by many people due to its uniquely large-scale architecture. Bahariya is the name of a desert in Egypt, and from the entrance of the cafe, a wide white desert spreads out. With a straight-line-oriented architectural design, the entire cafe feels like a gallery. The white desert, along with the reflection of water and light, creates a wonderful spatial art. All signature menu items are made using Yeoju rice. The Yeoju Rice Waffle is a handmade rice waffle topped with stevia tomatoes and kiwi. The Yeoju Rice Latte is a signature latte made by roasting Yeoju rice, glutinous rice, barley, and seoritae (black bean). The patbingsu (shaved ice with red beans) is a summer seasonal menu made with 100% domestic red beans and Yeoju rice flour. The Americano, made with freshly roasted premium green coffee beans, is also fresh. The watermelon juice uses high-sugar watermelons, so the taste is rich and sweet. The grapefruit ade is made by juicing fresh grapefruits, prepared on the same day, upon order. There are also tables next to the outdoor white desert. For safety reasons, Bahariya restricts entry to children under 11 years of age and pets.
