Why travelers stop here
Jeolla-do Jeongshik is a Korean table d'hote restaurant located at 172 Ganam-ro, Ganam-eup, Yeoju-si, Gyeonggi-do. The spacious interior is comfortable, and the owner, who hails from Gokseong and has 40 years of culinary experience, personally prepares the food. All ingredients are domestically sourced. The signature menu, Jeolla-do Jeongshik, includes stir-fried pork, grilled fish, marinated crab, soybean paste stew, and various namul (seasoned vegetables), served with a stone pot rice. The stir-fried pork is moderately spicy, and the savory grilled fish is cut into bite-sized pieces. The soybean paste stew is spicy and rich with deep flavor from homemade soybean paste. The various namul are also neatly presented. A special feature of Jeolla-do Jeongshik is that hongeo-samhap (skate fish wrap) is served as an appetizer. The boiled pork, skate fish, and kimchi are all excellent in taste and quality, making them great for stimulating the appetite. Since it is stone pot rice, you can also enjoy nurungji (scorched rice). The set meal takes 30 to 40 minutes to prepare, so it is advisable to make a reservation. Within 4 km, there are a premium outlet, Yeoju Museum of Art, Dalmatji Square, Geumeunsandae River Park, Silleuksa Temple, Yeoju Ceramic World, and Sejong Forest Bathing Area.
