Gangneung House

Gangneung House is a traditional Korean raw fish restaurant located in Ilsan Western Dome, known for its delicious live fish. It is on the second floor of Metro Gold, right next to Ilsan Culture Park. Passing through the tiled-roof-style entrance, you will find an aquarium inside. The fairly spacious interior has several four-seat tables, as well as group seating and private rooms, making it suitable for various gatherings. There are also floor-level tables, so it is fine to visit with a baby. The menu includes various dishes such as haesintang (seafood soup), haemultang (spicy seafood stew), live fish, hoe muchim (seasoned raw fish), and hae-mul jjim (steamed seafood). Set menus and lunch specials are also available, making it popular among solo diners. The hoejeongsik (raw fish set meal) can be ordered for two or more people and includes perilla seaweed soup, live fish, hoe muchim, and spicy fish stew. Parking is available in the underground parking lot of the building.
