Yongsan Cultural Center

Yongsan Cultural Center is a specialized cultural and arts institution dedicated to various cultural projects for Yongsan-gu residents, including cultural events, discovery of cultural resources, and arts education. It is a non-profit corporation established with approval from the Mayor of Seoul in 1997 under the Local Cultural Center Promotion Act, and operates with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Yongsan-gu Office. The center contributes to the cultural development of the Yongsan area and provides cultural enjoyment opportunities for citizens through projects such as youth drawing contests, free screenings of excellent family films, Yongsan Family Writing Contest, cultural heritage site tours, Yongsan Artists Invitational Exhibition, Yongsan Cultural Family Festival, student works exhibitions, publication of local historical materials, and Yongsan Culture publications, as well as various cultural classes for adults and children.
