Why travelers stop here
Memil Garden is a buckwheat restaurant located right next to the Forest Gallery Cafe in Homaesil-dong, Suwon-si. It has been in business since 1977 and is a second-generation restaurant that sources all ingredients from Gangwon-do. In front of the restaurant, there is a spacious parking lot shared with the cafe, and tables are placed in a garden-like yard for dining or waiting. The signature menu is the buckwheat set meal, and there are also buckwheat noodles, buckwheat pancakes, and buckwheat crepes. Additionally, the webfoot octopus set meal, thistle set meal, and fresh potato dumpling kalguksu are popular. Noodle dishes require some waiting time as the dough is made and boiled upon order. The interior and exterior of the restaurant are decorated like a country house, providing a comfortable dining experience, and there is also an open room available, making it suitable for gatherings. Located near Chilbosan Mountain, it is a popular restaurant among hikers. Coffee vending machines and buckwheat tea are separately prepared at the back for post-meal refreshments. ※ Pets not allowed
