Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
A long-standing traditional budae-jjigae (army stew) and budae-bokkeum (stir-fried army stew) restaurant located between Dongducheon Jungang Station and Bosan Station. The ham and sausages used in the budae-jjigae are not the typical commercially available grilling or side dish hams, but specialized products for budae-jjigae such as Tulip ham and Corn King. You can add sausage, ham, assorted, ramen, rice cake, or glass noodle toppings, but the portions are generous enough that you may not need to add any. Dried radish salad, refreshing dongchimi (radish water kimchi), and kimchi are served as side dishes to enhance the flavor of the budae-jjigae.
