Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
A galbi (rib) specialty restaurant located next to the Namyangju City Hall in Gyeonggi-do. It has been in operation since 1979 and is run by the second generation. Upon entering, a sculpted pear tree welcomes guests. On the wall of the stairs leading to the second-floor dining area, there are framed autographs from famous celebrities who have visited. During peak hours, there may be a wait. The signature menu item is pork ribs marinated with ground pear. The noodles, broth, and seasoning sauce are all made in-house from scratch. There is a parking lot in front of the building, and nearby Hongyureung (Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty) is worth a visit.
