Destination briefing
Why travelers stop here
Located at the entrance of the Bulamsan hiking trail in Byeollae-dong, Namyangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, this is a duck specialty restaurant with over 40 years of history. There are two access roads; one is an unpaved dirt road, so it is recommended to take the road closer to the main street. Upon entering, a spacious parking lot welcomes you. Inside, you must take off your shoes before entering. There is a pear orchard nearby, so if you visit from late April to early May when the pear blossoms bloom, you can enjoy a splendid view. There is a notice that says only those who have tried lacquer chicken should order it. The signature dish, Neungi Ori Baeksuk (stewed duck with cauliflower mushroom), is served with chives, which complement each other well. Nearby attractions include Sahmyook University, Taereung Athletes' Village, and the UNESCO World Heritage site Gangneung.
