Gukbo966 Old Tofu

Gukbo966 Old Tofu restaurant is located near the intersection at the entrance of Daegot-myeon Office on the main road leading to Ganghwa Chojidaegyo Bridge. The exterior looks aged, and inside the restaurant, there are tables for sitting on chairs and several rooms for sitting on the floor. Opened in 1966, it is said that the restaurant started with the name Gukbo966 by removing the first digit '1' from the year. You can enjoy the authentic, savory taste of old-fashioned hand-made tofu, reminiscent of home-cooked meals in the countryside. The menu mostly consists of tofu dishes, including sundubu (soft tofu), kongbiji (soybean pulp stew), cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew), dubujeongol (tofu hot pot), dubobossam (tofu wrap), saengdubu (fresh tofu), and dububuchim (pan-fried tofu).
