Beomnyongsa Temple

Beomnyongsa Temple, located in Suseo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, is a modern building shaped like a boat (Banyayongseon) with two underground floors and three above-ground floors. It serves as an educational venue for training Buddhist nuns and lay Buddhists in overall Buddhist practices, including asceticism, propagation, and social welfare, as well as cultivating experts in various social fields. For lay Buddhists, it offers specialized education such as beginner courses (day and night classes) and basic courses (day and night classes). The cultural center operates classes in temple cuisine, folk painting, line gymnastics, traditional women's crafts, living embroidery, yoga, flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and Buddhist painting.
