A private art museum located in Buam-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, which also manages Seokpajeong, the detached villa of Heungseon Daewongun. Opened in 2012, Seokpajeong Seoul Museum of Art presents various curated exhibitions centered on contemporary art. It has garnered attention by introducing works of renowned international artists to Korea, including Novello Finotti, a world-renowned icon representing Italian contemporary sculpture. In addition, the museum houses numerous works by artists such as Lee Jung-seop's <Bull>, as well as works by Chun Kyung-ja, Na Hye-seok, Park Soo-keun, and Shin Saimdang, and its regularly held collection exhibitions consistently receive great responses. Appreciation programs tailored to children's perspectives and various creative activities are also actively operated. With a combined ticket, visitors can view both the museum exhibitions and Seokpajeong, and the panoramic view of Buam-dong seen from the front yard of Seokpajeong is also beautiful.
